Safr for Android

Safr isn’t on Google Play yet, so on Android you install it straight from this page. It’s the same app as on the App Store, and Safr tells you inside the app when a newer version is ready.
Installing it
- Open this page on your Android phone and tap Download Safr.apk.
- When the download finishes, tap the notification or open the file from Downloads.
- If Android says your browser isn’t allowed to install apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
- Tap Install, then Open.
Google Play Protect may say it doesn’t recognise the app, because Safr is new and not on Play yet. Tap More details and Install anyway. The app is signed by Safr, and it’s the same build we’re sending to Google Play.
Updating
When there’s a new version, Safr shows an Update available message. Download it from this page and install it over the old one — your settings and saved places stay. Mosque listings and prayer times update on their own, with no download.
