بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى ٱللَّٰهِ
Features
Safr finds mosques along your route corridor and suggests the best stops based on which prayers fall during your drive — sorted by shortest detour.
Get notified when a prayer window opens while you're driving. Tap the alert to see nearby mosques and reroute with one tap — no fumbling with your phone.
Full voice-guided navigation with speed display, multi-stop support, and automatic rerouting. Mosque stops are seamlessly integrated into your route.
Start every journey with the travel supplication. Audio recitation with page-by-page Arabic, transliteration, and translation — plays automatically on your first drive.
Live compass with calibration flow. When you're facing the Qibla, the app confirms it — useful for praying at rest stops when there's no mosque nearby.
Accurate prayer times calculated for your exact GPS location using North American calculation methods (ISNA, MWL). Updates automatically as you travel across time zones.
How It Works
Search for any address or business in the US and Canada. Safr calculates your route and identifies which prayers will occur during your drive.
For each prayer, Safr shows the best mosques along your route — sorted by detour time. Pick the ones that work for you, or let the app suggest stops automatically.
Navigate with voice guidance, mosque stops built into your route, and live prayer alerts. If a new prayer time approaches, Safr finds the nearest mosque and offers to reroute you.

Safr ("we," "our," or "the app") is a navigation app designed for Muslim travelers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Location data — Safr uses your device's GPS to provide navigation, calculate prayer times for your current position, determine Qibla direction, and find nearby mosques. Location data is processed on your device and sent to mapping services (Mapbox, Google Places) only as needed for routing and place search. We do not store your location history on our servers.
Locally stored preferences — Your settings (prayer calculation method, madhab, corridor width, saved locations like Home/Work, recent destinations) are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.
No accounts or personal information — Safr does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifiers.
Safr uses the following third-party services to function:
These services receive location coordinates as needed to provide their functionality. We do not share any additional data with them.
Safr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of Safr after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

By downloading or using Safr, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Safr is a navigation app that integrates Islamic prayer times and mosque locations into route planning. It is designed to help Muslim travelers plan prayer stops during road trips.
Safr is not a replacement for your own judgment while driving. Prayer times are calculated algorithmically and may differ slightly from your local mosque's announced times. Mosque information is sourced from public databases and may not always be current (hours, open/closed status, etc.).
Do not interact with the app while driving. Set up your route before you start driving. Voice guidance and prayer alerts are designed to minimize the need to look at your screen. You are solely responsible for safe operation of your vehicle.
We strive for accuracy in prayer times, mosque locations, and routing, but we cannot guarantee perfection. Prayer times are calculated using established North American astronomical methods (ISNA, MWL) and may vary by 1-2 minutes from other sources. Mosque data comes from OpenStreetMap and Google Places and may contain inaccuracies.
Safr is currently available in the United States and Canada. Mosque coverage and routing quality may vary by region. The app requires an internet connection for navigation and mosque search.
Safr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed prayers, incorrect directions, or any damages arising from use of the app. Use Safr as one tool among many to plan your journey.
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
